(Historical Notes: Okay, two things of note here. One, this was the back page of the booklet, mostly just there to fill up the other side of the cover. That’s why there’s so much empty space, it was supposed to feel like an afterthought. Two, this just might be the single most out-of-character moment of this whole thing. I teased Layla looking for ways to exploit Trigger a few times early on, and it even at the time it never really felt right. The more both their characters got fleshed out, the more WILDLY wrong it felt to imply that Layla would do anything other than fiercely guard Trigger’s innocent purity like the savage mama bear she is.)
And then Trigger spent a good part of the next 10 years or so of the main FOT continuity shirtless…
