(Historical Notes: Okay, so this part to really make sense, you probably have to start out with the understanding that my whole idea of how websites are supposed to work was formed back in the Wild West days of The Internet.  You ALSO have to remember that I was able to crank out a looooot more content back in the day than I do now, though that’s kind of beside the point.  What matters is, back when I was first figuring out what Far Out There was going to be, I thought it’d be multiple, separate comics running simultaneously.  Like, you’d visit the Far Out There website and, instead of just a single newest page right there at the center of the screen, there’d be an index of all the various Far Out There sub-comics and some kind of thumbnail indicating which one had updated that day.  I thought I could juggle three or four separate comics under the Far Out There banner, each updating on a different day of the week.  Like, two days of the week would be pages in the central, ongoing plotline, but then there’d be a side-story updating one day a week, and a couple of unconnected Gag-A-Day comics on the remaining weekdays.  I even had mad notions of doing Far Out There sprite comics as a regular thing… which thankfully never made it past that one April Fool’s comic.  Of course, the funny thing is that Far Out There eventually wound up being this very thing once TWC Voting Incentives and Patreon Comics became a thing… though my chronic struggles to stay on time with those shows why it probably still isn’t a good idea.  Also, the fact that all that other stuff is clearly secondary to “The Main Comic” shows how my original idea never would have worked out anyway.  HOWEVER, I did still make a small batch of One-Shot comics at the same time that I was working on the first, preliminary arc of Far Out There pages.  Obviously, these VERY early experiments leave a lot to be desired in the art department, and I clearly didn’t understand the characters very well yet.  Still, I think they make for a fascinating glimpse into the primordial ooze where Far Out There first began.  For example, remember back when I wanted literally everything to be all paisley and psychedelic?)
