A good boss needs to know how to find her happy place and tune out the chaos surrounding her.
It could be both. This could be Sophia blocking out memories of two separate events, one where Ichabod and Mariska ran terrified & one where Aunt Domino temporarily turned into a squid monster and collected other Nitpickers for a while. Alternatively, she’s getting to her happy spot while a monster that projects significant memories is hiding behind her chair.
Some folks might say that’s the mark of a lazy, slacker boss not so much as a good boss 😉
Although I think Sophia enjoys allowing the Chaos to run rampant entirely 100% on purpose, knowing that she can step in with Claire at the last minute and “Save the day”, thus making her employees owe her and using that to drag compliance out of an otherwise highly noncompliant group of nitpickers in the future, this being the basis of her entire management style.
