Okay, the idea here was SUPPOSED to be that Dr. Jarre ejected from the robot in a tophat-shaped escape pod. That does NOT come through in the finished art at all.
There’s a bit of a call-back going on here. Props to you if you remember what it is.

I didn’t plan for this to be happening right as the main comic is showing Tabitha BOTCHING an invention, but it’s interesting that it panned out that way.

This whole format is really great because I don’t actually have to come up with any dialog I don’t want to.
Hey, just because I couldn’t do it as a cutaway flashback gag doesn’t mean I couldn’t do it in a more complicated, spread out fashion!
