(Historical Notes: Again, this is a side of Ichabod we haven’t gotten to see much in the main comic. He and Layla may snipe at each other, but he can’t really cut loose against her the way he can a character like Vance. The comedy just wouldn’t land in that circumstance… which is a problem, given how often they’re the only characters around.)
