(Historical Notes: …aaaaand there it is.  Again, there’s no egregious plot holes or anything here, just terrible story structure.  If we’d previously seen Vance doing… ANYTHING, it’d be more of a “oh right” moment when Eric points out that they don’t actually know where he is NOW.  As it stands, though, after all this standing around, this page just feels like a combination of Ichabod being needlessly scatterbrained and the plot in general going in circles.  Have I complained enough about the writing here yet?  Yeah, I don’t think it’s an accident that I just “happened” to fall behind on re-posting these pages right in the middle of this stretch.)
