(Historical Notes: OOF.  Past Me clearly had NOT learned hist lesson on the abuse of background texture here.  At least in the Astrid comics, the foreground characters were a different level of brightness than the background.  In this case, I seemed to think that just slapping a few strips of lighting details on top of everything would make up for the fact that you CAN’T FREAKIN’ SEE THE LINES AMID ALL THE NOISE OF THE BACKGROUND.  And it’s not even a terrible background image, it just shouldn’t be showing through the foreground!)
