(Historical Notes: Oh yeah, NOW I remember why I took such a break from reposting stuff.  I knew I was going to have to give Past Me a… stern talking-to at several points.  And not even for the thing you might initially assume, looking at this particular piece of artwork.  In fact, I’ll at least partially defend this as an entirely in-character thing for Astrid to choose to wear. I would most likely not make the decision to actually DRAW her in said dress today, but whatever.  The thing that really bugs me is… actually, let’s stick a pin in that, because it’s a topic we’ll be revisiting several times in the near future.  In the mean time, I just want to point out that the original file name for this image was “lackofdress.jpg”)
