(Historical Notes: Alright, this one I like. A lot.  The dramatic lighting on this one is some of the best in this whole series, and more importantly, the background texture REALLY works.  And that’s the thing about so many of the Incentive comics from this era: Past Me didn’t seem to fully grasp the difference between a background IMAGE and a background TEXTURE.  There’s a lot of comics around this time where I seemed to think letting the background bleed through the art would give a sense of texture to some unimpressive art, only for it to totally overpower the art entirely.  But we’ll get into that later.  For now, let’s just appreciate this instance of the art actually working.)
