(Historical Notes: …aaaaand here we go.  This isn’t even one of the worst examples, but it still finds Past Me reeling from the failure of the previous incentive and using a background texture to hide the fact that I didn’t have time to put in all the artistic details I’d intended.  And what’s frustrating is, as far as the line art goes, this is one of the better ones.  Astrid’s action pose is a lot better than I usually can pull off, and the bug girls look pretty cool too.  I even like the lighting flourishes, too, but that whole leaf texture in the background is SO distracting…)
