(Historical Notes: Doubling down on the detail established earlier that Jenna hates the heat about as much as I do. It helps provide an in-character reason for why Jenna tends to favor so many sleeveless short-skirt outfits, but also a way to have some immediate friction between Jenna and Tabitha.  It’s a funny thing to say, but one of the things I like the most about this set of comics is how much these two DON’T have chemistry with each other.  Like, they obviously don’t hate each other or anything, but I think it implicitly strengthens the friendship between Tabitha and Layla to see how she doesn’t quite get along as well with other people.)
