(Historical Notes: Oh right, there’s a REASON we only see some characters in isolated gags.  They only really fit the tone of the comic if we don’t have time to think too hard about them.

Also: oh sure, NOW Past Me decides to start breaking the page up with panels, AND leaving some of the art un-colored.  Granted, the latter is still a bit haphazard.  I’m not sure why I bothered to color in Dr. Vanderslice in the second panel, even though nothing else in that second half of the page is.  Yes, it does drive home the foreground/background dynamic like it ought to, but it draws the eye to a part of the page that really isn’t all that important.  Honestly, it’s the LAST panel that needs the extra splash of color, not the penultimate one.
