I’m sorry, Kiki, but M. Ventricle is correct here. If they traveled through time, they’d still both be young, but in the Even-Farther-Out-There-Future. And traveling backwards wouldn’t de-age someone, they’d just be still old, but in the past/present. Ventricle’s explanation works – one experiences decades while the other experiences seconds, and then to revert, Ventricle experiences decades at a negative rate. It could also be explained if ONLY Kiki traveled in time decades forward, and then she traveled back, but that wasn’t one of the options.
