There is still that one alteration that she was boasting to Layla about at Disonar’s party that would presumably be a bit more noticable. (Presumably that was still prior to the picture on the right, so I guess that was her first alteration?)
The obvious joke here is to say that counts as TWO alterations, not one. 😀
However, the ACTUAL response is that the statement in this comic is still the case, but since this is an All Ages comic, I couldn’t draw Astrid in a way that would adequately express the relevant details visibly. That is, she’s indeed had a ton of boob jobs, but never for any kind of size increase, they actually are naturally that enormous. But she’s so obsessive about perceived imperfections that she’s spent several fortunes “correcting” minor instances of thing being slightly asymmetrical or not properly spherical, more than anybody else would ever spend on far more obvious chesticular augmentation.
Said fortunes mostly going into the pockets of her regular Celebrity Cosmetic Surgeon who, after the first couple procedures which may have actually made some minor adjustments, usually now just puts her under general anesthetic for a couple hours, then goes off to have lunch at a very expensive restaurant, after which he returns to inform her that her latest list of terrible (imaginary) imperfections have been completely fixed. Which she knows they surely must have been, because she spent a huge amount of money! Everyone wins! 😀
