The Killer Station of Deadly Doom – page 157
(Historical Notes: Really, this is was the first time I actively started retconing anything I’d previously established in the comic, since I lucked out the whole “Layla and Trigger are the same age” idea was never explicitly stated in the first place. But here I really am deliberately doing some re-writing of what I’d previously stated about a character. Thankfully, I haven’t had to do this much since. At least, not so drastically.)
This is tied for the most sympathetic Pattie has been in the entire thing. She *cares* even if she can’t show it well, and it implies that she’s hurting from Eric’s death when the comic started- just hides it well.
(This goofy comic really has some good emotional depth mixed in with the zany names and classic sci-fi refs, and I love it for this combo.)
Awww, thanks! Yeah, it’s pretty drastic what a departure this version of Pattie is from the one we glimpsed in those early pages of the comic. And rest assured, she’s WAY more interesting to write this way, too.
