(Historical Notes: Okay, in Past Me’s defense, pages like THIS are why I gave into the urge to let background textures bleed through so much of the art elsewhere in this series.  I vividly remember being caught off-guard over how long it took to even get this rough draft-level art done, and having to go ahead and post it “as is” because there was just no time to do the rest of the dramatic lighting and shading that I’d intended.  The plan had been to do the same atmospherics we saw in the previous one, only with actual color on Astrid, but WOW I hadn’t budgeted out the time for that.  We’ll see in a bit just what a loop that through me for.

Also, this is about as close as this series gets to acknowledging its loose inspiration in the Ilsa series of exploitation films, for whatever that’s worth.)
