(Historical Notes: Yeah, if this feels a bit abrupt, that’s because it is. Past Me had unhappy enough with the previous couple of incentives that it just seemed like a better idea to bail out of the series entirely and do something else. And while I obviously agree that Past Me was screwing up royally here, I do kind of regret how this turned out. For one thing, I do think there’s still mileage in the idea of Astrid staring in her own line of trashy exploitation adventure, especially since I love coming up with over-dramatic tiles so much. And that’s the other thing. Astrid shouldn’t nope out because the titles are getting too silly, because is this this REALLY that much sillier than the previous ones we’ve seen? Instead, the title for this last one should have been more exhausted and out of breath, like “The Planet… of the… Really Bad Thing… With the Awful… I Dunno, Whatever…” and then Astrid would storm out all insulted, because if you can’t take this seriously, then darn it, she’s not going to bother either. Her time is VALUABLE, thank you very much. But then, if we’ve seen anything over this stretch, it’s that I didn’t bother to plan this whole stretch out well enough. So, of course, the next batch of Incentives would have no plan whatsoever…)
