(Historical Notes: I think Past Me was still think about how well that tribute to our family cat turned out when I drew this.  To be honest, Layla’s odd combination of being extremely aloof and prickly while also being very hungry for affection is very cat-like.  That said, I do with Past Me had drawn those ears in FRONT of the twintails rather than cutting up through them, because those must be some LONG ears.)
